FARMA TROMPETAS was founded in 1990 in the Megara area, Attica, Greece, by the Trompetas family, with sole purpose the production of rabbit meat.

Our initial size included 300 places for reproducting female rabbits, as of now, in whole area of Greece, we have obtained technical expertise and suitable experience to secure high quality on every stage of production and we have evolved into one of the biggest rabbit meat farms(animal breeding, production of carcass meat and its by products), including 2000 places for rabbit reproducting females.

Carcass meat in our farm represents:

• Whole rabbit meat or cut up in portions(fresh or/and freshfrozen),

Our byproducts are:

• Rabbit Saucage with natural herbs
• Smoked spinal fillet
• and other gourmet products, 100% out of rabbit meat!

But, we didn't just stop there...

We created IQF prodcts, of direct freezing, that is, they do not require defrosting, but they are ready to cook and serve, since they are made with homade recipes from our own chefs, with marinated and perfectly processed fresh 100% rabbit meat.These are:

Aiming in high quality and massive production of rabbit meat, the upgrading of our infrastructure, along with the servicing of our business partners, are continuous.

Our continuous cooperations with Houses from abroad, possessing technical expertise in rabbit breeding, have led the production and the quality of this healthy meat and of our products, to excel!

Since 1992, FARMA TROMPETAS cooperate with companies for genetic improvement and certified animal foods, from Italy and France. From these partnerships we have continuously gained in technical expertise, which we have shared with other partners with rabbit farms in Greece.

• Since 2007 we have been working with Eurolap Hyla France, who provides us with certified reproductive animal stock.
• Since 2008 we have been working with Sun Company Italy, who provides us with certified chow animal feed.
• Since 2011 we have been working with CHABEAUTI France, who builds rabbit cages equipment.

• We produce fresh and freshfrozen raw rabbit meat prodcts, which come from our modern facilities in N. Dapne Megara, Attiki, with the capacity of 2000 places for rabbit reproductive females.

• We provide the Greek market but also exports through our partnerships, with our products, as we possess the necessary documents and we meet all prerequisites and pass all the necessary sanitary and transportation tests.
